A big difference between Yummly and other sites is that we know food. What we mean by “know food” is that we understand things like: salmon is a type of fish, olive oil is found in Mediterranean cooking, and yogurt is a substitute for sour cream. We aren’t just displaying the recipe and ingredients, but we understand the food behind it. That way when we say a recipe is Vegetarian – we’re pretty sure about it.
