Aster transforms off-the-shelf, commodity hardware into a powerful, self-managing, and scalable analytic database capable of handling the most demanding data warehousing environments. The company was founded by three colleagues from the Ph.D. Computer Science program at Stanford University and backed by some of the Valley's famous investors.
